Adam Johnson
Software Engineering Director, Lockheed Martin Space


Adam Johnson is currently the Software Director at Lockheed Martin Space for Space and Missile Software. Adam was most recently the SmartSat™ program manager for Engineering & Technology at Space. In this role, he was responsible for leading the discriminating software capabilities of advanced autonomy, re-programmability and increased compute capacity across the Corporation’s family of satellites. Previously, Adam was a Software Engineering Manager of the Enterprise Flight Software (EFSW) product line, and he also served as a Software Engineer on GOES, Orion and the International Space Station. Adam holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Arizona State University, a master’s degree in Computer Engineering from University of Houston Clear Lake and an MBA from Colorado State University.
